Welcome to Blaine County's snowmobile grooming website, hosted on BCRD's WinterTraiLink website. Here you can explore the county wide groomed snowmobile trails and get realtime information on recent grooming and weather on trails throughout the Wood River Valley!
A few helpful tips:
On the main Snowmobile page, move the map around by clicking and dragging the map itself or by clicking on the tabs across the top to zoom in on popular areas.
Hover over or click on any trail and a box will appear with details of that trail, open/closed status, grooming and more. Scroll down the box to see a link to that trail's detail page.
The drop down menus under "REFINE YOUR MAP" will redraw the map to show only the trails that fit your criteria. The "MAP LEGEND" shows what different trail colors and icons mean; hover over or tap any icon on the map to get more details about that icon and why it has been placed there.
All boxes can be minimized out of your way to see more of the map by clicking the minimize button in each of the box's title bar.
Scroll down below the map to the Trails Report to see updated grooming information and conditions in a table of conditions for specific trails.
Click the trail name in the Trails Report (or the link at the bottom of the trail info box, or just click the trail itself on the map) to be taken to that trail's details page to see more information including elevations, weather, other conditions, and KML and GPX files you can use in Google Earth or on your phone/GPS.
Drop a Lat/Long Pin
Enter latitude and longitude in any of the three general formats (decimal degrees - DD.DDD°, degrees decimals minutes - DD° MM.MMM', degrees minutes seconds - DD° MM' SS.SSS"). Don't worry about any symbols just put spaces between minutes and seconds if using that format.
